The author of the article reveals an important condition for the success of state administration - it is the active participation of civil society in all aspects of the socio-political life of the state, which positively affects the successful development of democracy, reducing the level of such socially negative phenomena as corruption, poverty, intolerance, extremism.
According to the author of the article, the active cooperation of society with the authorities helps to build a society in which people trust each other and can solve social problems together. The aim of the article is to analyze the state of regulatory and legal regulations as well as institutional support for the interaction of state authorities and civil society institutions at the current stage of development of society and public authority relations.
The issue of interaction between state authorities and civil society institutions has been one of the key issues of society throughout its existence. The legitimacy of state power, its content and stability depend on such an interaction. After all, the development of the Ukrainian state is characterized by the modernization of all social institutions involved in the process of democratic transformation. However, these changes are not easy, and even hellish, because along with the COVID-19 pandemic, they are accompanied by a fight against an external enemy - the Russian Federation, which in 2014, by occupying and annexing Crimea and parts of Donetsk and Luhansk, which on February 24, 2022 launched an insidious attack on Ukraine unleashed a full-scale war on the territory of our state.
The globalization movement, the development of a single information space, innovative, public activity of society have largely contributed to the above-mentioned modernization processes. With the opposition of Ukrainian society to the aggressor, all democratic countries of the world have united around Ukraine, which appears as another aspect of Ukraine's unchanging course towards democracy, EU and NATO membership, which is actively supported by civil society.
