Abstract

The article provides a detailed analysis of key global health trends that shape the development of health systems in the current global context and are driven by long-term transformational processes in modern societies and countries. In particular, it examines the processes of the aging of the world’s population, which leads to an increase in demand for health services and changes in morbidity patterns; the increase in the prevalence of non-communicable diseases, such as cardiovascular, oncological and chronic respiratory diseases; the active digitalization of health services, including telemedicine and electronic medical records; and increased attention to patient safety and equality of access to health care for different social groups. The key problems arising from the intensification of these trends are analyzed, including the financial burden on health systems, the shortage of medical personnel, uneven access to innovative technologies and the need to adapt the legislative framework to modern realities. Examples of effective strategies and policies from different countries aimed at improving the quality, efficiency and accessibility of health services, as well as integrating innovative approaches into health care practice, are presented. Particular attention is paid to the role of international cooperation and exchange of experience in ensuring the sustainability and adaptability of health care systems in the context of globalization, technological change and socio-economic challenges. It is emphasized that only a comprehensive approach combining innovation, political will and international cooperation can effectively solve modern health care problems.
