The article examines global democracy as a type of universal process of globalization, which indicates a qualitative change in the socio-political state of the world community and individual countries that have chosen the path of democratization of power, democratic values, which include ensuring human rights and freedoms.
It is emphasized that global democracy for Ukrainian society represents a set of democratic standards, democratization of all spheres of social life, and the formation of a democratic type of person.
It has been proven that the introduction of global democracy in Ukraine is a mandatory, urgent and inevitable process only in the case of a general unification of the interests of the people and the government, where the individual is the main one. Global democracy not only changes the relationship between the government and the public, it is the foundation of civil society, a catalyst for effective social development, contributing to the intensification of public activity of people in all spheres of social relations.
The concept of "global democracy" is defined as a phenomenon that characterizes the interdependence and interconnectedness of peoples, states, government institutions and citizens and is a set of democratic standards and values in the process of development, both of individual states and the entire world community.
It is emphasized that global democracy not only changes the relationship between the government and the public, it is the foundation of civil society, a catalyst for effective social development, contributing to the intensification of public activity of people in all spheres of social relations.
It was concluded that global democracy in the future is the only possible type of interaction of world political subjects. The implementation of global democracy in Ukraine should be a strategic goal of the state and the entire nation, since the future of every Ukrainian depends on the level of democratization of society and government, his opportunity to be a citizen of a truly democratic, highly developed country, as well as a part of the international democratic community, where the main advantage will be given to democratic values.
